Attorney Information: Bar number, bar state, practice areas, jurisdictions, years of experience, professional bio, malpractice insurance status.
Matter Information: Legal matter descriptions, intake answers, uploaded documents, messages between clients and attorneys.
Payment Information: Payment details are processed and stored by Stripe. We do not store your credit card numbers.
Usage Data: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, timestamps, and device information collected automatically through standard web technologies.

4. AI Processing
We use artificial intelligence to process matter descriptions, uploaded documents, and legal research. This processing is performed to assist attorneys in preparing deliverables. AI-processed content is always reviewed by a licensed attorney before delivery.
We may use anonymized and aggregated data from matters to improve our AI models. Individual matter details are never shared publicly or used to train models in a way that could identify specific users.
5. Information Sharing
We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With matched attorneys: Client matter details are shared with the assigned attorney to perform legal services.
- Payment processing: Stripe processes all payments. Their privacy policy governs payment data.
- Legal compliance: We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order.
- Service providers: We use third-party services for hosting, email, and analytics. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, access controls, and regular security audits. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain account information for as long as your account is active. Matter data is retained for 7 years after matter completion to comply with legal record-keeping requirements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time, subject to legal retention obligations.
